Bridget with NewfoundlandBridget Mackeith has been working as a freelance illustrator since graduating from Maidstone College of Art in 1990 (apart from a year working in London doing a proper job and then a short spell travelling to recover).

Bridget has illustrated books for some of the major publishing houses; Andersen Press, A & C Black, OUP, for example, as well as producing a substantial amount of greetings cards for, amongst others, Carlton and Hallmark.

Over the last few years, there has been a little lull while Bridget has chosen to do smaller jobs that can be squeezed in around watching her children grow. This she does in the idyllic surroundings of the Wiltshire countryside, with her faithful Newfoundland, Ringo, by her side (if he can be bothered to move).

Please do contact Bridget via the contact link if you would like to chat about her work.
